Whether you have a newborn, a toddler or children at school, one thing that’s for certain is that mornings are busy. And they’re definitely not the time to be doing something like makeup (I know right; when do we get time to look good?).

Vaseline is my go to, and I always have a little pot of it with me wherever I go.
As well as being used as a lip balm, vaseline can also be used on eyebrows to neaten them up, eyelashes to brighten and condition and even cheekbones to highlight.
Vaseline can also be used as a makeup remover (my Mum has used it for years) and also an intensive moisturiser.

Mascara

For me, I find it opens up my eyes and brightens up my whole look.

Eyeliner
Eyeliner is a product that has been in my makeup bag since I was about 15, and I still use it all the time.
It’s very versatile, and with a range of different colours and textures, you can change your look in seconds.
Pencil eyeliners can give a subtle look depending on the colour you choose, and liquid eyeliners can give a more noticeable look.
Eyeliner can be tricky at first, but once you’ve got used to it, you can put it on in no time at all.

Shimmer eyeshadow
Shimmer eyeshadow is a great product that isn’t just reserved for the eyes. You can also use it as a highlighter too.
Use it on your eyelids for a quick sparkle, underneath your eyebrows to brighten up your eye area, and along your cheekbones for a subtle sheen.
If you use a makeup brush rather than your fingers, you can control the intensity, and it’s super quick to put on.
